  One of the most creative public artists of Bulgaria has become Yoan Iglev, who combines the traditional methods with the contemporary narration. His interests in monumental art, murals, and mosaics have transformed the spaces of the people turning them into handsome cultural experiences and he is one of the key figures of the modern art in Bulgaria. Yoan Iglev  was born in Plovdiv and he learned at the National Academy of Art in Sofia where he practiced decorative painting and large compositions. During his childhood, he started to work with mosaics and murals in order to find the access to art that could be available to ordinary people.
